Our history
2012
Pabau is born! The business launches as a marketing software with one feature only – newsletters. In the beginning, we pitch ourselves to a range of industries: salons, gyms, restaurants, and clinics. When we sign our first healthcare clinic we realize this might be the sector for us!
The ‘aha’ moment!
The first clinic we sign in the healthcare sector is Riverbanks Clinic. This is the moment we realise that this might be the industry for us.
2013
We reach our first big milestone – reaching 100 clients! Our CEO and founder, William Brandham, also makes our first-ever hires with three software developers.
2014
By the end of the year, we have 1200 registered users – all healthcare clients. We also double our staff – hiring two customer support team members to manage our growing client base.
2015
Pabau concludes the year by signing up 3000 registered users, marking a significant milestone for the company.
2016
We open our new headquarters in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
2017
We have expanded to a team of 15 employees located globally.
2018
We hire our 50th employee and hit another big milestone – 10,000 registered users!
2019
We make two important hires to our leadership team.
2020
We launch our video consultations feature to support our clients through Covid-19. We also make a big strategic hire, bringing in Kane Wickson as our new COO.
2021
We hit a big milestone – hiring our 100th employee! Meanwhile, we’re getting noticed in the industry – our CEO is named as one of the top healthcare technology CEOs of 2021.
2022
We open our brand new office in Pristina, Kosovo, as a base for our new software engineers – a sign of our continuing investment in the development of Pabau 2.
2023
We launch Pabau 2 and begin rolling it out to a limited number of users. We continue to grow and hit monthly recurring revenue numbers that we’ve never hit before!
2024
Pabau 2 rolls out to all customers. We surpass 200 team members, open a third office, and cross 25,000 registered users worldwide.
2025
We launch our AI-powered clinical documentation features and expand into new markets across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Pabau now serves clinics in nearly 40 countries.
How it started
The Leicester garage where it all began!
Pabau… before we were Pabau! Our OG name was actually Webbier CRM - Pabau was the back-up choice.
Our first logo. We paid £5 for the first Pabau logo and didn’t change it for seven years!
The entire Pabau team back in 2013! What’s really cool is that two out of these three hires are still with us today.
How it's going
We’ve signed some of the biggest aesthetic clinics around, including Dr Leah Totton Cosmetic Clinics and SKN.
We’ve opened an office in Skopje, Macedonia, and a second office in Prishtina! (P.S There’s even a slide)
We’ve grown, a LOT! There’s now 200 members of staff - who are affectionately known as Pabsters!
We recently launched a flagship new version of our product, Pabau 2. It’s the best version of Pabau yet!
