A payment policy helps in many ways. It makes sure you get paid before appointments, improving your cash flow and cutting down on late payments or no-shows. Clear payment terms mean everyone knows what to expect, so there are fewer misunderstandings and less chance of disputes. 

You also won’t have to send awkward reminder emails, as payment requests are handled automatically. This keeps things clear for both your patients and your team, making your whole appointment process run more smoothly.

The deposit is an upfront payment that clients make to secure their appointment, and it is redeemed against the total appointment price. However, it doesn’t allow you to define when the remaining balance is due.

On the other hand, a payment policy allows you to set a due date for the remaining balance and automates the process of sending payment request emails. 

If both a deposit and a payment policy are enabled, the payment policy takes priority, ensuring that payments are managed according to the rules you’ve set, including the remaining balance due date.

For example, if your payment policy requires a 50% initial payment and you set a 25% deposit, the client will need to pay 50% upfront.

Absolutely. You can monitor payment statuses directly within client cards, your Pabau Wallet, the Invoices page, and reports. You’ll be able to see who has paid, who still owes, and the due dates for any outstanding balances, helping you manage payments efficiently.

Payments are securely processed through Stripe. Stripe uses advanced encryption to protect sensitive data and complies with strict industry standards like PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). 

This ensures that your clients’ payment information is handled with the highest level of security, giving both you and your clients peace of mind.

For online payments through Pabau, clients can use Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also accepted, making it easy and convenient for clients to pay online.

You can easily keep track of all payments in your Pabau Wallet, where recent payment activities are displayed. Just a quick check, and you’ll know exactly which clients have paid.
